While everything in the world might be on hold right now, our mission to help find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease certainly is not. We have recently re-opened our doors to our new state-of the -art facility in Excel House, Eurocentral and have started welcoming participants and their families in for their appointments for our current Alzheimer’s research studies.
At the moment, we are running appointments via video consultation calls or on an appointment in the clinic based on people’s preferences.
With our new facilities now up and running, we are accepting applicants for our current studies into Alzheimer’s disease. You can find out more information on these studies below:
Anavex
Glasgow Memory Clinic are looking for volunteers who may be suitable to take part in our most recent study, Anavex.
Anavex is a phase 3 clinical trial for a new treatment designed to improve cognitive function, sleep, behavioral and psychological symptoms in people with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or early-stage mild dementia due to Alzheimer’s.
The study provides the opportunity for volunteers, with cognitive symptoms due to Alzheimer’s, to take a tablet with breakfast, each morning, for a 12 month period, whilst receiving regular health monitoring

EU201 project – FUJIFILM Toyama
Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is an increasingly common disease for which there is a need for treatments that address the underlying processes of the disease. In this study we are looking to address the increases in a protein called Tau, which is known to be present in patients with Alzheimer’s Disease.
We are looking to investigate a medication, which has demonstrated some ability to protect and preserve parts of the brain commonly affected by Alzheimer’s Disease. With this study, the researchers want to learn more about the safety and effectiveness of this new treatment.
